There are no good options at the destroyed three plants at Fukushima Daiichi but I'd settle for a leak rather than increased criticality of the fuel rods evaporating the coolant water away.
These three damaged plants and the 3 supposedly undamaged plants at Daiichi are all ticking time bombs and we ae running out of time.When Tepco say that it will take decades to 'decommission' the damaged plants they are speculating. The technology to mitigate the damage doesn't exist.
