– quicker because I don't have to wait in line.
– more comfortable because I can put the items in my bag in the order and at the rate I want.

of course it does. i PAY them to do the work of collecting the money with the expensive prices i have to pay for my goods.
i dont care if i have to wait a minute or 2 more.
i put the goods in the right order on the band and then in the right order in my backpack.
the women at the checkout still got their job.
